Kirsten Donaghey

ADHD coach, book coach and long-time editor
I'm a certified ADHD coach, book coach and long-time editor. I am also the author of A Novel Approach: Strategies for ADHD Writers. My niche is working with writers who struggle to get words on the page, finish projects, get overwhelmed or run out of steam, or veer off track. In hindsight, becoming a writing coach for people with ADHD seems like it was inevitable. I struggled with writing for a long time, but I always persisted, trying to figure out why something I love so much was so hard. I was diagnosed. I got the training. And then I started to see patterns in my clients – how shame played such a big role, getting distracted by dopamine hits that came with ‘another great idea’, and the thing everyone thinks they need to be a writer, consistency. I am also the co-author, with Nicole Bross, of A Novel Approach: Strategies for ADHD Writers.
