Like many ADHDers, Rachel struggles when it comes time to write. Fine once it’s underway, but doing everything to procrastinate, put off and distract herself from getting started or keeping going – often unable to do anything until there’s a hairy deadline looming…
After covid when home working had completely undone her ability to focus, she started experimenting with running structured writing retreats and found quite quickly that writing in a group setting was transformational for both her concentration and that of the other participants.
In this talk Rachel will explore how writing in a group setting can unlock the ability to get even the most challenging writing done. And how it can even make the whole thing feel something like fun!
