ADHD writers often spend years believing they need more discipline, better routines, or stronger willpower. In reality, many of the behaviors that keep us from writing are protective responses that we can learn to negotiate with. In this workshop, Monica introduces the principles of self-compassion and Parts Work to help writers understand the inner critic, the perfectionist, the procrastinator, and the overwhelmed parts that can make writing feel impossible. Rather than trying to silence these parts, you’ll learn how to work alongside them so writing becomes a place of curiosity instead of shame.
