Amanda is a writer, mental health social worker and mentor living in Rotherham, UK. She has done battle with Tourette's Syndrome and ADHD from childhood, and as is so often the way for late-diagnosed people, she has struggled to get on the page. Not understanding why has been the most insidious barrier of all. After a million false starts, missteps and mistakes, crises of confidence and intense self-criticism, she is moving towards figuring things out. Years of experience working in mental health coupled with finally getting her diagnosis has come together to allow her to write more consistently, find ways to manage the things that get in the way, and support others to do the same.
